I am trying to teach myself how to tune the engine.
I am chasing the base setting for the Redline 21 engine. No I don't have the manual, so I am after some assistance please. I have read up on setting the upper and lower and idle, but most articles tell you to start from the base setting. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks Terry |

.8 mm gap between the carby slide and edge of carb for the idle needle, flush and flush for high and low speed needles, can turn HSN in a 1/4 turn from flush.

Found part of the problem.
The seal in the high speed was gone. Was letting in air and making it difficult to tune. Terry |

Good stuff, well its not good the seal is gone but it is good you found the problem. Have fun with that motor, there a real little ball tearer.

The seals for Redline and Go Carbies are easy to find, if you can't find any locally, Bruce from Kincraig Elite RC has them, as does Massivemods.
